St Johns Real Estate

St Johns County is located in northeastern Florida. As of the 2005 Census, the population was 161,521. The county seat is St Augustine. St Johns is one of the highest income counties in the United States.

St. Johns County is part of the Greater Jacksonville Metro area. It has experienced explosive growth in the last ten years as a flood of people working in Jacksonville built new homes across the county line to take advantage of St Johns great schools and lifestyle.

Quality of life in St. Johns County is unmatched. The region offers a rare combination of ingredients that inspires corporate and residential neighbors alike. The county's coastal communities of St. Augustine Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach are natural playgrounds for residents and are among the most pristine in Florida.

St Johns County is home to the worldwide headquarters for golf and for men's tennis, the PGA Tour and the ATP Tour, the World Golf Village, where golfers will find links designed by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, and additional locally famous courses at Palencia and Marsh Creek Country Clubs pleasant and challenging diversions.

The county's northwest section is hosting tremendous growth, including many world-class neighborhoods near the St. Johns River and the prestigious communities at the World Golf Village.

Among our finest assets are St Johns County's public schools, rated among the best in Florida. Our students continue to surpass both state and national averages on standardized test scores.  And when it comes to our assets, we're passionate about protecting them.

With 43 miles of beaches to our east, the glorious St. Johns River to our west and dozens of expansive parks and cultural resources to explore in between, St Johns County has attracted an energetic workforce that is stable and satisfied.

Lastly, any discussion of the St Augustine experience would be incomplete without mentioning its myriad dining possibilities. Many fine restaurants grace the city, most notably the luxurious food offerings at 95 Cordova, the elegant bistro dining at Cortessi`s, and Cap`s, located on the water and known for its fresh-from-the-ocean seafood.

Yearly events which draw people from all over the world include the Players Championship TPC at Sawgrass in May, the Lighthouse Festival which takes place in March every year. The Colonial Folks Art and Crafts Festival in October and in November and December the Old City is decorated for the Nights of Lights Festival.

St Johns County truly represents a collection of all that is important to people: a city with global appeal, inspiring climate, progressive commercial growth, top-rated schools, an abundance of recreational opportunities, diverse industry, rising incomes and a safe, small-town feel.
